Please watch this TED Talk called “The History of Our World in 18 Minutes” before you proceed with the rest of this course. I meant to include it in last week’s announcement, but I think now that you have a solid understanding of how early civilizations were formed and what civilization even means, it will be even more meaningful to you going forward.
In the Complete section of each unit of this course, you have three essay questions. Each essay should be at least 325-350 words (a total of 1000 words). Include citations and a list of at least 3 different academic /scholarly sources that you used to answer the questions in APA format. 15% of your grade in the Complete section is based on your use of sources and APA format. (See rubric in Unit 1 Course Materials or Syllabus).
Please use clear, organized language along with good grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. 25% of your grade is based on the quality of your writing in this class. (See rubric in Unit 1 Course Materials or Syllabus).
